A german immigrant, Von Nessens effects on contemporary lamp design goes back to 1927, when he set up Nessen Studios in New Yorks Murray Hill section. He was a member of the new modern movement that included Walter Dorwin Teague, Donald Deskey, Gilbert Rhode and Russell Wright. Original condition with some very minor use marks.
