Early antique French Torchere hand wrought Iron standing candle holder c1800. This hand wrought tall candle stick is French and dates from the 18th to early 19th century in France. This heavy candle holder measures 55 inches high and takes a 1 and one half inch candle.

Rare pair 18th to early19th century Japanese Imari jars mounted as lamps. This pair of Japanese Imari vases date from either the 18th or early 19th century. One of the vases has damage and the other one is fine. That most probably is why they were made into lamps. The do need to be rewired. Each vase measures 13 inches high.

Early Persian turquoise green vessel lamp bronze mounted

Early Persian turquoise green water vessel lamp bronze mounted. The lamp measures 32 inches high. The top rod can be adjusted to be raised 3 inches so the shade can be moved up or down. The jug with its base and top measures 19 inches. The color is a deep turquoise teal. The water jug dates from the 15th or 16th century. The base and the top are a heavy solid bronze and so is the finial. This lamp has been rewired.

Antique Chinese Cloisonne vase lamp

18th century Chinese cloisonne vase circa 1750, mounted as lamp many years ago. It has been rewired and the shade is new. This Chinese cloisonne lamp measures 31 inches to the top of the finial, 16 inches to the top of the vase and 8 inches in diameter. The finial is pale green jade. The vase is gorgeously colored with yellow, orange and pink spidery blossoms, green leaves, and ribbon scrolls against a brilliant turquoise ground, typical of the Qing dynasty.

Vintage Longwy pottery Fish Lamp

This piece looks very much like a piece of Longwy pottery. Longwy (pronounced long-wee) is a French ceramics factory established in 1798 and still in business today. Many of their designs were adaped from Chinese, Japanese, and Persian ceramics. They produced many pieces in this distinctive, deep turquoise glaze with black decoration during the 1920's. Longwy is quite collectible
