Phoenix Glass reverse painted table lamp.This antique table lamp made by the Phoenix Glass Company of Monaca, Pennsylvania. The reverse-painted glass shade and base are both panel-mounted in bronze-finish metal. It was made between 1890 and 1910.

Williamsburg Thomas Chippendale Hanging wall self

Williamsburg Thomas Chippendale Hanging self. This hanging shelf was made by "Williamsburg" in Williamsburg Virginia. They make the finest reproductions of period American furniture. This hanging self is number CW37 in their 1976 catalog page 113. The description states "This mahogany hanging wall shelf, a typical Thomas Chippendale design, is a reproduction of an old stand of bookshelves. The four shelves and two convenient drawers are united by upright ends of delicate fretwork. Height 39 inches width 36 inches depth 7 inches.The original of this piece is in the Governor's Palace. English c 1760. Hand made from solid mahogany.

English Brass candlestick holder with snuffer c1800

English brass candle holder, c1800. A conical snuffer is a attached to the handle and the tray would was made to hold a wick trimmer See " The Brass Book" by Peter, Nancy and Herbert Schiffer page207 for a very similar example. This brass candle hold measures 7 inches wide by 5 and three quarters deep by 4 and three eighths inches high. Excellent original condition.
